Issued: Tue, 13 Oct 2015 10:44:00 BST

The University of Glasgow and Nankai University’s articulation agreement, signed in 2013, that culminates in a University of Glasgow MSc in Urban Studies has welcomed its first cohort of students to Glasgow. The 22 students have been taking the 4 week pre-sessional English programme and are all set to embark on their study abroad year, hosted by the School of Social and Political Sciences. The agreement allows students undertaking a BSc in Urban Management at Nankai University to spend the third year of their programme at the University of Glasgow.

The articulation agreement follows a 2+1+1+1 pattern, whereby students spend the first two years of their undergraduate programme at Nankai, followed by a year in Glasgow and the fourth and final undergraduate year back at Nankai. Upon successful completion of this programme students have direct access to a University of Glasgow Urban Studies MSc and an accompanying scholarship.
