Building a campus fit for a world changing university
The focus of the £1 billion project is the 5 hectare former Western Infirmary site, but the first major new-build will be the Learning and Teaching Hub on University Avenue, adjacent to the Boyd Orr building and partly on the site occupied by the former Maths and Stats building.
The foundations for our new campus were laid in 2016 when a multi-million pound project to install an energy efficient district heating scheme was completed, cutting our carbon emissions by 5000 tonnes a year.
