  Creative Conversations Speaker Series 2017 - 18

  The Creative Conversations Speaker series returns to the University Memorial Chapel for its second year. This series is sponsored by the Ferguson Bequest and programmed by Creative Writing at University of Glasgow. All events take place in University Memorial Chapel, 1pm - 2pm. Free & open to the public. Books by featured authors will be for sale in John Smiths bookshop. Bring your lunch and burning questions!

  Great War Project launch

  A simple service took place in the Memorial Chapel on 25 September 2014 to remember a University Victoria Cross recipient on the centenary of his death. The Great War Project was launched on the same day.

  Memorial Garden - remembering our people

  755 crosses will fill the Memorial Garden next to the Quincentenary Ceremonial Gates on University Avenue by 2018 to commemorate University members who died in World War 1.
