Global Interventions at the End of Life

Our main research project is called 'Global Interventions at the End of Life – social, comparative and historical analysis to promote global improvement'. This research is led by the University of Glasgow and supported by the Wellcome Trust.

We are working on several research case studies within this project, including:

Background to the study

Professor David Clark holds a Wellcome Trust Senior Investigator Award in the Medical Humanities to lead the Global Interventions at the End of Life project.

The work has funding for four years from 1 March 2015, and is being undertaken by members of the Glasgow End of Life Studies Group and our partners around the world.

The Glasgow End of Life Studies Group is based on the University of Glasgow's Dumfries Campus, in Scotland.
